. >> developing tonight at eight. police are investigating the death of a teenage girl. who suisun city yesterday. and found dead in fairfield this morning. a passerby discovered the girl's naked body in allan witt park at about 6-45 this morning. right now. her death is being investigated as a homicide. kron-4's charles clifford has been in fairfield all day. he joins us live tonight with the very latest. the girl, who's described as a teenager, was reported missing by a guardian thursday afternoon when she didn't come home from school. the suisun city police department spent thursday eveing and friday morning searching for her. around 6:45 friday morning, an officer with the fairfield police department discovered her body lying naked in a parking lot here at allan witt park. fairfield police blocked off a large section of the park and spent most of the day searching the area. they also contacted suisun city police who were able to identify girl as their as of friday evening the girls name and exact age had not been released, pending notification of next of kin. the fairfield police department i

in a major shake-up at the baltimore city police department. dramatic video from sky eye chopper 13 of a police trainee being loaded into a medevac hospital after being shot. it happened at the former rosewood center in owings mills baltimore county. a candidate in training with the university of maryland police was shot in the front of the head by a baltimore police trainee instructor in what's being called a training accident. >> he is currently in the operating room with our chief of neuro trauma. he's stable but any thoughts or predictions about long-term neurologic outcome are way to early. >> reporter: the events with unclear. also unclear is whether it was protocol for a live run to be chamberered in a weapon during exercises. the victim was medevacked to shock trama downtown. >> currently our prayers and support are with the trainee and the family at this tough time. >> reporter: a somber police commissioner made a stunning announcement following the shooting. until a thorough investigation is complete, all trainee operations have been shut down. >> i immediately shut down a

night's power outage won't hurt his city's chances of hosting another super bowl. mitch landrieu says to a local radio station this morning that league owners were impressed with how new orleans hosted the game last night. the nfl is still trying to figure out what caused that outage at the super dome. the lights went out during the third quarter, delaying the game for about 30 minutes. stadium officials initially blamed an abnormality they say an investigation is still under way. >>> fireworks over the city of baltimore to celebrate. there will be a parade tomorrow to celebrate the win, but today baltimore is cleaning up after fans poured into the streets creating a mess. sara hansen takes us there. >> reporter: monday morning, baltimore was still basking in a purple glow after a long-awaited victory. crews came out to clean up the streets of federal hill, just hours after thousands of fans came out to celebrate. they poured out of bars and restaurants downtown. in canton the streets were also counted, fans were flying high. >> it's unbelievable. i've never seen anything like this in

in san francisco. but next season will be the teams last at the stick. the city has announced plans to demolish the stadium after the team moves south to its new home in santa clara. kron 4's charles clifford has more >> reporter: candlestick parks sits about 5 and a half miles south of downtown san francisco. the stadium was built in the late fifties as a home for the san francisco giants, the 49ers started using it in 1971. the giants moved out in 2000 and the next nfl season will be candlesticks last. for more than fifty years candlestick park has been home to sports, concerts, and more than a few memorable moments, among the highlights was the 1989 loma prieta earthquake, which shook the stadium on live television during the world series. there was also this pass from joe montana to dwight clark, which was immortalized as the catch that sent the 49ers to superbowl 16. candlestick park is currently run by the san francisco recreation and parks department, but after the 49ers play there last game here next season, developer lennar urban will take over. lennar is the same company t
